Customer Service Representative
Proulx Oil & Propane is seeking a full time Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills, who has a passion for excellence in customer service and possess a strong work ethic. This full-time position requires a candidate who can work in a fast-paced team environment while multi-tasking a variety of responsibilities. Primary job function is answering a high volume of phone calls which consists of helping customers with the following:
- Schedule fuel deliveries and service appointments
- Assist with billing and payment questions
- Open new accounts
- Process statements and invoices
- Prepare price protection and budget pay contracts
- Educate customers on products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements: Must have prior customer service experience. Ability to multi-task, strong computer and math skills are required.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred, experience in the fuel industry is a plus, but not required.

Service Department Coordinator
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Service Technicians by assigning work to the appropriate personnel. Experience and proficiency with computer operations to include Microsoft Office Suite programs is required. Performs the following duties personally and in conjunction with other members of the company to provide the best customer service possible.
- Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction, and support of other team members within team.
- Contacts or responds to service personnel to obtain or provide information and directions.
- Tracks back work orders of problem calls.
- Prints daily work orders to effectively schedule and dispatch jobs.
- Schedules work for the service technicians and installers in the computer system by using the computer dispatch scheduling.
- Performs follow-up phone calls for service performed.
- Coordinates company truck repairs by scheduling, tracking and reporting on repair work as it is performed.
- Coordinates with delivery scheduler regarding new tank installations.
- Reviews completed workorders, and follows through with ordering parts, etc.
- Checks Dig-Safe daily.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor to provide general support to company operations.
- Reviews log notes in a timely manner.
- Assists in performing tasks of other personnel within the department as needed.
- Maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.

Sales Consultant
Proulx Oil & Propane is seeking a sales professional who is experienced in the sales and marketing of liquid propane sales, HVAC, hearth, and other industry related products. This position focuses on new construction, builders and commercial accounts and requires cold calling, prospecting and lead generation. This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate will have experience with heating systems, air conditioning, space heat, hearth products, gas piping, oil and propane fuel needs. Propane gas licenses a plus.
Education Requirements: High school diploma, bachelor's desired. Propane gas licenses a plus.
Job Requirements: Sales experience in the oil & propane industry and HVAC.

Propane Technician
Proulx Oil & Propane has multiple openings for experienced and skilled Propane Service/HVAC Technicians who have a demonstrated proficiency in the installation, service and repair of residential and commercial HVAC equipment. Excellent trouble shooting skills are required. While requirements of this position include night and weekend on-call duties on a rotating basis, our unique system of call screening and support make this responsibility a less burdensome facet of this job with Proulx.
Job Requirements:
- Installation, service and repair of boilers, furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces and air conditioning systems.
- Perform gas checks and clean & service of HVAC equipment.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to work both independently and as a team member are essential qualities necessary for success in this position.
- Ability to collaborate with other technicians on various work assignments is a must.
- Maintain all required paperwork associated with service installations and service maintenance calls to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Licensing/Certification Requirements: NH/ME gas licensed, EPA Type 1 and Type 2 Certification. Ability and willingness to obtain CDL w/Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Oil Burner Service Technician
Proulx Oil & Propane has an immediate opening for an Oil Burner Technician with 1-3 years experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of residential heating systems. This position is based at our Epping, NH location with travel to our customer base in New Hampshire & Maine. Job Requirements:
- This is a full-time position in which strong customer focus and the ability to work both independently and in a team, environment is essential to the position.
- NH Oil Heating Technician Voluntary Certification is desired but not a requirement.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting, maintenance and repair skills and have a history of safe work practices.
- NORA Oil Heat Certifications are a plus.
- Propane gas licensing for both NH/ME along with A/C service experience are a bonus.

- Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Proulx Oil & Propane is currently hiring a full-time, year-round delivery driver. Ideal candidate will be friendly, hardworking, technically minded and responsible to safely deliver products in all weather conditions. If you have experience delivering either fuel, please apply.
